- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Griffith park is perfect starting point for Collaroy to Queenscliff walk .This walk provides contrasting headlands of Long Reef and Dee Why Head , the former an eroded finger of chocolate shales , the latter a rugger cliff-edge sandstone outcrop . Long Reef is open with golf course and only fringing remnants of native vegetation : Dee Why Head is covered with thick coastal scrub .
