  Such a great place to have in Collaroy - the food here is fantastic and just pushes your average curry that little further to make it a memorable experience. The starters are absolutely stand out - lots of lovely light bites with great flavor combinations. Staff are super friendly and work very hard to please. Would highly recommend a visit to Periyar.

  This is a cut above your normal Indian, it's a touch more fine dining and the food is excellent. A bit more originality, a bit more of "something different", a bit more interesting. I love it when I go into any restaurant and see a dish on the menu I've never heard of before. Even better when it comes to the table looking good and tasting great. Staff are fantastic and I hope to see more people in this place.
